According to WitsView’s global survey, top ten monitor SI shipments fell by 2.6% QoQ to 38.36 million units in 1Q10. Meanwhile, top ten monitor brand shipments declined by 6.3% QoQ to 33.12 million units.
According to WitsView’s latest survey, global large-sized panel shipments fell by 4% MoM to 51.44 million units in April 2010. This can be mainly attributed to the overinflated demand from high expectations of the hot season in 1Q10, which led to excessive product pull-in, and caused the gradual inventory build-up among brand vendors.
