Taipei, April 16, 2009---According to WitsView’s latest survey, global large-sized panel shipments (including the 8.9” and above) reached 35.56 million units in Mar09, up by 27.8% MoM, but still down by 4.2% YoY.
Taipei, April 8, 2009---According to WitsView’s latest forecast, the aggregated monitor shipments of the Top 10 SIs will reach 34 million units in 2Q09, up by 10% QoQ. Following the sluggish shipments in 2H08, they finally started to pick up in 1Q09, thanks to a flurry of inventory restocking and influx of rush orders.
Taipei, April 7, 2009---For Apr09, as downstream clients continue to replenish their inventory and prepare the launch of new models, coupled by the still tight supply of some components, panel prices will remain on an upward trend. Demand for the 40W and below TV panels has been strong, especially in the China local sales.
