Aug 5th, 2010------ Recent panel manufacturers are concerned about the excess inventory, causing doubts to the demand for LED TV backlight. According to LEDinside, an LED industry research division of TrendForce, Japanese TV brand vendors have come to Taiwan to seek LED material sources.
Since 2008, 32W has been accounting for the largest ratio with 40% in global LCD TV sales. WitsView expected that sales ratio of 40W and above LCD TV in 2H10 may increase substantially in accordance with the recent panel price quote and the street price trend.
Under the trend of economies of scale and work specialization, LCD TV vendors are focusing more on the brand management, and have gradually released their manufacturing capacity to cost-competitive SIs. Among which, Japanese TV brand vendors are the most aggressive ones to release their orders in the worldwide.
July 30th,2010--- According to DRAMeXchange,a research division of TRENDFORECE, the bit shipment of total branded NAND Flash makers grows 20% QoQ in 2Q10. However, 2Q10 ASP roughly decline 9% QoQ due to the increasing output for TLC and raising TLC white-brand memory card penetration at cost edge.
July 30th,2010-----According to DRAMeXchange, the research division of Trendforce, WW 2Q10 DRAM industry recorded US$10.70B, which is 15.2% QoQ growth compared of US$9.29B in 1Q10. The revenue growth is contributed by the stable raising DRAM contract price and mild output growth.
