TrendForce discloses the latest panel prices for early April, with details as follows.

  • TV

Concerns over weakening TV panel demand are starting to spread in April. With inventory levels rising on the brand side, panel makers are becoming increasingly aware of softening demand. Although plans may be underway to stabilize supply and demand by adjusting production, no significant changes in utilization rates have been seen so far.

While panel prices have yet to be affected in the short term, with Trump’s reciprocal tariffs announced on April 2, supply chain pressure is mounting, raising concerns that panel demand could weaken and affect future prices.

For now, TV panel prices in April are expected to remain flat across the board.

  • MNT

MNT panel momentum is expected to continue into April, with prices still on the rise as panel makers look to narrow their losses.

However, following the announcement of reciprocal tariffs, some brands have paused shipments of finished products, sparking concerns that panel demand and pricing could soon take a hit.

As for April’s MNT panel prices, Open-Cell panels are expected to rise by $0.3. Among panel modules, 21.5″ FHD panels may go up by $0.2, 23.8″ FHD by $0.3, and 27″ FHD by $0.2.

Overall, MNT panel prices are expected to show a slight upward trend in March. Open Cell panels are forecasted to rise by $0.1-$0.2, while panel modules are expected to increase by $0.1-$0.2 for 21.5″ FHD, $0.2-$0.3 for 23.8″ FHD, and $0.1 for 27″ FHD.

  • NB

NB panel demand is entering choppy waters this April after the rollout of reciprocal tariffs. With the outlook still murky, brands rushed to ship products by air before the tariffs took effect on April 9. However, there’s a risk that demand could dip after that date, which may impact panel orders.

Given the unclear market direction, panel makers are taking a wait-and-see approach on pricing. For now, NB panel prices in April are expected to stay flat across the board.
