Amid memory prices rising across the board, Taiwan’s Nanya Technology, a key DDR4 player, has emerged as a major beneficiary. At today’s earnings call, the company reported a strong Q4 2025, with after-tax net income of NT$11.083 billion, a 36.8% net margin, and EPS of NT$3.58, according to the Economic Daily News.

Notably, Liberty Times reports that Nanya Tech’s Q4 earnings hit a record high, while the company returned to full-year profitability in 2025, posting NT$6.603 billion in net income and EPS of NT$2.13. DRAM average selling prices surged over 30% QoQ in Q4, with sales volumes climbing in the low double digits, lifting gross margin to 49%—up 30.5 points from Q3, the report highlights.

Liberty Times, citing President Pei Ing Lee, suggests that with limited supply growth this year and strong AI-driven demand, multiple DRAM products are expected to remain in short supply, including DDR5, low-power DDR5, DDR4, low-power DDR4, and even DDR3. The report, citing Lee, also flags Nanya Tech is set for further price increases in Q1, with profits likely rising.

In addition, the Economic Daily News reports that Nanya Technology is investing aggressively, eyeing around NT$50 billion in CAPEX for 2026—2.7 times last year’s level. At today’s board meeting, the company confirmed its 2025 CAPEX cap of NT$19.6 billion, with actual spending at NT$13.4 billion and NT$6.2 billion deferred to 2026, the report adds.

According to the company, cited by the Economic Daily News, it is deepening its diversified product lineup. Its 128GB DDR5 RDIMM 5600/6400 has passed functional testing, with mono-die speeds reaching 7200 Mb/s, while DDR4 and LPDDR4 supply continues to be optimized to meet consumer demand.

On the technology and capacity front, third- and fourth-generation 10nm-class nodes (1C/1D) and custom AI projects are progressing as planned. The new fab is slated to start equipment installation in early 2027, supporting competitive next-generation memory solutions, the report notes.
