[Sponsor Content] iDEAL Semiconductor Expands SuperQ™ Platform with Industry-Leading 150 V MOSFETs Delivering Record-Low Resistance

iDEAL Semiconductor announced the release of its SuperQ™ 150 V MOSFET family, now available in mass production and sampling across multiple industry-standard packages.

The new devices extend the performance leadership of iDEAL’s SuperQ architecture, which achieves a record-low for on-resistance (RDSon) while also maintaining the cost, manufacturability, and ruggedness advantages of silicon.

The SuperQ 150 V family introduces several performance-optimized devices, including the 6.4 mΩ (max) iS15M7R1S1C, which is available in a compact PDFN 5 x 6 mm package and the 2.5 mΩ (max) iS15M2R5S1T series, which is available in TOLL, D2PAK-7L, and TOLT packages. The iS15M2R5S1T has the industry’s joint lowest resistance, which is also 36% lower than the next-best competitor..

Additional variants are also sampling, including a 5.5 mΩ MOSFET in PDFN 5 x 6 mm package, and an 8.8 mΩ MOSFET with TO-220 and PDFN 5 x 6 mm versions.

Target applications include motor drives, battery protection circuits, AI servers, and switch-mode power supplies. These markets demand ultra-low conduction loss, high ruggedness, and scalable silicon manufacturing.

All SuperQ 150 V devices are available in drop-in compatible industry packages including TOLL, TOLT, D2PAK-7L, TO-220, and PDFN 5 x 6 mm. The new family joins iDEAL’s 200 V SuperQ line already in production, with 250 V to 650 V platforms in development to extend silicon’s reach into even higher voltage domains.
