As the eurozone debt crisis will continue to affect global economics in the second half of 2012, NAND flash industry vendors are concerned that the traditional peak sales season for consumer electronics will be weaker than usual.

According to DRAMeXchange, a research division of TrendForce, in 1HJul. DRAM contract price trend fell for the first time this year; average 4GB chip price was US$20.25, representing a 4.71% decrease, and lowest traded price was US$20 even. Average 2GB chip price remained around US$11.25.
According to LEDinside’s latest price survey, the LED research division of TrendForce, the global ASP of LED light bulb dropped slightly in June. Global ASP of 40W equivalent LED light bulb dipped 4.5% to US$19.9 with prices in the United States and Germany undergoing more prominent decrease.
