According to TrendForce, a global market research firm, PC DRAM prices have shown noticeable signs of rebounding in 2013, following two years of financial losses and declining output value. The prices of mainstream products like 4GB modules rose by nearly 60%, which helped to ease the declining ASP of both server and mobile DRAM.
In addition to the related publicity talks, the touch NB has been pursuing the practicability of the application, including the detachable idea that combines the working ability with the NB keyboard and the mobility similar to the tablet for the entertainment and leisure purpose, and the two-way design is popular with the market.
The new touch NB carrying Windows 8 hit the market with luster in Q4 last year, but its elevated price and Windows 8 user interface were hard to attract consumers.
Despite of the freshness of touch NBs, the relatively high price has been the obstacle to lift the sales.
