Global 40W equiv. LED bulb ASP rose slightly by 0.5 percent to US $15.3 (NT $463.7), with price rise most evident in Japan, according to LEDinside, a division of research organization Trendforce’s, latest LED bulb retail findings for Jan. 2014. Conversely, global 60W equiv. LED bulb ASP dipped 0.9 percent to US $21.2. ASP for 40W equiv. and 60W equiv. LED bulbs dropped compared to last year, by 21 percent and 28 percent respectively, according to data by LEDinside. The decreasing LED bulb price trend is anticipated to continue in 2014.
