LEDinside, a division of TrendForce, projects the scale of the infrared (IR) LED market for the surveillance application during the entire year of 2014 to reach US$94 million in its 2Q15 Gold Member Report - 2015 Global LED Supply and Demand Market. This recently released analysis also estimates IR LED market scale in surveillance application will furthermore come to US$120 million for 2015.

The LED package prices continue to fall in the second quarter, according to the latest price report from LEDinside, a division of TrendForce. Compared with the prior quarter, the average LED price for the lighting application products has fallen by 1~9%, excluding the package specification 2835.
