The research highlighted how companies across the value chain are innovating to meet market challenges and driving the industry beyond development bottlenecks.

Key Highlights

• The year 2025 marks a pivotal moment for the widespread application of full-spectrum lighting technology (dimmable white LEDs), “Natural Sky Lights” simulating solar spectra take center stage.

• AI Lighting accelerates the application of smart lighting; it is evident that China’s lighting industry has made significant advancements in AI-related cutting-edge applications.

• Backlight sources and up–down lighting designs gain popularity, and crafting multidimensional spatial experiences, becoming a focus of the exhibition.

• Previously, the function of parameter adjustment was mainly focused on indoor lighting products. At GILE, the use of adjustable parameter DIP switches extended into outdoor lighting products.

• Elderly-oriented lighting emerges as a market focus as with the aging population increasing.

• Under the goals of reaching the emission peak and achieving net-zero emissions and the dominant trend of green development, energy saving and environmental protection are key issues in lighting.
